Dear VFW Post 8587 Auxiliary Members,

Serving as your Auxiliary President is an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside you. Thank you for the time, care, and dedication you give to our veterans, service members, and their families in Georgetown and the surrounding communities.

Our Auxiliary depends on members who step forward to help. Whether you volunteer at an event, support a fundraiser, prepare a meal, attend a meeting, or check on someone who needs support, your efforts make a difference. I appreciate the work you do, including the efforts others seldom see.

I encourage every member to take an active role in our Auxiliary. Please attend our meetings when your schedule allows, share your ideas, and participate in upcoming activities. Your experience and perspective help us plan programs, support our Post, and serve our veterans. To our newer members, welcome. We look forward to getting to know you and helping you find a place to contribute. To our longtime members, thank you for sharing your knowledge and keeping our traditions alive. Please help us welcome those joining our Auxiliary and invite them to get involved.

As President, I want our members to feel heard, respected, and informed. I welcome your suggestions and concerns, and I look forward to working with our officers and members to follow through on our commitments. As we move forward, let us continue to support one another and remember the purpose behind our work. Honoring our veterans means showing up, listening to their needs, and offering help through our programs and everyday actions.

Thank you for your continued service and commitment to VFW Post 8587 Auxiliary. I look forward to seeing you at our meetings and events and serving alongside you throughout the year. With appreciation,

- Auxiliary President VFW Post 8587Georgetown, Texas
